From sea shanties to social commerce, TikTok has changed the face of performance marketing in just five years since its launch. 

As such, PMW is thrilled to have the global platform’s support as a partner for its Paid Social Media Seminar, taking place at Events @ No 6 in London.

The UK Paid Social Media Seminar has been designed to help brands and marketers sort the big hitters from the hype in the industry and learn where best to invest their budgets and resources from those already winning in the sector.

High-profile speakers, from major organisations including Coty, Dell, Tui and Tails.com, will lead live sessions as the paid social sector faces new challenges in a privacy-first and increasingly fragmented marketing landscape.

More major brands taking part include the RNLI, Radley London, Snag Tights, Superbet, Nue.com, Student Beans and Innovaderma.

These interactive and hybrid sessions will be supported by contributions from industry organisations including The London College of Communication and The Influencer Marketing Trade Body. 

Insights from the TikTok team

TikTok themselves will host a session with exclusive, behind-the-scenes insights on how brands can stand out from the crowd on a platform that is growing in popularity with performance marketers. 

The TikTok sessions will be led by:

TikTok’s speakers will host separate talks, covering campaign management, measuring success on the platform and tips on maximising engagement by working with the right creators for your brand.

The PMW editorial team will also chair two panel discussions on the opportunities and threats facing the paid social industry in 2022 and beyond, including the benefits and brand safety risks of influencer marketing and the role of brand purpose in paid social marketing activities.
