Winners that caught our judges attention include an augmented reality Doritos game in the Philippines, a persona-driven campaign for activewear in Australia and lead generation for a telecoms giant in Singapore.
PMW APAC Awards 2022: winners roll-call
The big prize of Performance Marketing Agency of the Year went to Tug. The agency bucked a pandemic trend by tripling in size across the APAC region.
OMD Singapore and Amobee scooped the top prize in the Data and Insights category (and also the Programmatic Advertising award), with a multi-touch attribution campaign for youth focussed mobile network GOMO. Judges were wowed by the campaign - which brought out extra value across the customer journey, not just the final outcome.
Yahoo picked up the Marketing Innovation prize for its work with Doritos in the Philippines, with an engaging augmented reality game that broadened the snack's appeal to locked-down audiences during the pandemic.
The Australian division of Rakuten Advertising won the integrated category for their work with Aje Athletica combining strong branding and performance results for the activewear brand.
The winner in the Lead Generation category was Carat and Yahoo for their work for Starhub, focused on driving lead programmatically in Singapore’s saturated telecoms market.
The Marketing Partnership winner was Rakuten Advertising and 55Haitao for its work with Clinique that integrated brand and performance very effectively.
