Budweiser has teamed up with Good-Loop and SolarAid to produce video ads on Good-Loop’s platform that donate to SolarAid every time a video is watched.
The ads, set to go live in early July, are aiming to create a sustainable market for solar lights in Africa. More than 6,100 solar lights are set to be donated as part of the initiative, reaching more than 33,000 people and saving families £981.5K in total. CO² emissions will be reduced by more than 6,500 tonnes.

100% renewable electricity commitment
The ads will also mark the milestone of all Budweiser beer in the UK being brewed with 100% renewable electricity. Budweiser Brewing Group (BBG) committed to being the first UK brewer to brew from 100% renewable sources four years ago and delivering two solar farms and a wind turbine in 2021. Enough renewable electricity has been generated for brewing operations for Budweiser and other BBG brands including Stella Artois, Corona, Bud Light and Becks.
