Alex Lubar has been named DDB Worldwide’s Global President and Chief Operating Officer. Lubar will join DDB next month. He is currently President of McCann North America, having been with the agency since 2012, with roles including CEO of McCann London, and leading the Asia Pacific region.
Unilever CEO Alan Jope has announced his intention to retire at the end of 2023, after five years at the helm and more than 35 years’ service at the brand. Unilever’s Board will start a formal search for a successor, considering both internal and external candidates.
Anna Lundstrom has been elevated to the role of CEO for the UK and Republic of Ireland at Nespresso. Lundstrom succeeds Guillaume Chesneau, who has been appointed as Business Executive Officer of Nespresso France. She joined Nespresso in 2010 as Brand PR Manager rising through the ranks before joining the leadership team as Chief Brand Officer, a global role, in 2020. Before Nespresso, Lundstrom held roles at LVMH, Chanel and Gucci, before joining Weber Shandwick.

Global events brand Money 20/20 – part of Ascential which is also home to Cannes Lions and WARC – has appointed Geraint Jones as Global VP Marketing. Jones was previously marketing and growth leader at M&C Saatchi and Omnicom and has held a number of senior marketing roles in agencies.
Jack Howson has joined independent multi-platform production studio Peanut & Crumb as Head of its Audio Division. Howson will oversee development and production of Peanut & Crumb’s original and branded audio content, including documentary, drama, and new current affairs and cultural formats. He joins from Reduced Listening, where he produced and launched Spotify’s Decode podcast.

Cross screen data solutions provider Lotame has strengthened its executive team across the globe, elevating two team members to key roles. Nishanth Raju has been elevated to Managing Director for the Southeast Asia (SEA) region. Lotame’s former SEA Managing Director, Frederic Marthoz, has shifted to the newly-created role of VP of Global Partnerships on the Revenue and Global Partnerships team, based in London.
