Performance marketing agency Tug is pushing further into the US with the opening of a New York office.
Opening in response to client demand and in a bid to take US brands further globally, the new office joins existing operations in Berlin, London, Singapore, Sydney and Toronto.
The news comes as the independent agency announces the appointment of former Proximity Global CEO Mike Dodds to its board as Non-Executive Director. Dodds will provide strategic advice to the company during this growth phase, with a background managing global digital agencies for WPP and Omnicon.
He said: “What impresses me about Tug is that it is both independent and international. This supercharges the opportunity for Tug in the fast-paced performance market, as the agency is able to be nimble and pivot services quickly on a global scale. Tug's ability to respond to the client demand for a New York offering is testament to the unique strength of this proposition.”
New MD for Tug New York
Tug will be announcing its Managing Director for New York in the coming weeks.
Its Founder and CEO Nick Beck commented: “With our New York presence, we have the ability to deliver truly global programs for US brands. By applying our smart combination approach and leveraging our local capabilities across six global offices, we’re able to really drive digital growth for US advertisers internationally. Crucially, through our base in Toronto, US clients can also benefit from the nearshoring of costs which, in the current economic environment, will enable them to get more out of their budgets.”
