Ogury has promoted its COO Geoffroy Martin to Chief Executive Officer. Martin succeeds Thomas Pasquet who will become Ogury’ s Chairman of the Board. He has more than 25 years’ experience in tech companies, and prior to joining Ogury was General Manager and Executive Vice President of Growth Portfolio at Criteo and CEO of online art retailer ART.com.
Marie Gulin-Merle has joined online fashion retailer ASOS as a non-executive director. Guilin-Merle is currently Google’s GVP of Ads Marketing, and has previously held marketing and digital leadership roles including Chief Digital Officer of PVH, Chief Marketing Officer at Calvin Klein and prior to this was Group Chief Marketing Officer at L’Oreal.
Global media platform Teads has promoted Monique Pintarelli to President, North America. Pintarelli joined Teads in 2018 as Senior Vice President, West Coast Sales, and was most recently Chief Revenue Officer. Prior to her time at Teads, Pintarelli served as Vice President, Sales at Viant Technology. She began her career at Turner Broadcasting, where she spent 15 years in various roles across TV, Digital and Performance Marketing.
As reported in our sister publication Campaign, Gousto’s Chief Marketing Officer Tom Wallis has left the company after six years. Sally Matthews, Gousto’s chief customer officer, now has responsibility for the marketing team.
Sapna Arora has joined dentsu India as Chief Client Officer. Arora brings 22 years of global growth and general management experience and has worked with several Fortune 500 companies, including Naspers, Nestle, Reckitt Benckiser, and P&G, and has led many start-up stages of businesses in multiple geographic locations. Prior to joining dentsu, Arora was CMO India and Global Brand Head at OLX India.
Campfire has kicked off the new year with three new hires. Olivia Bence joins as Senior PR Manager, having worked at other Manchester agencies, and will be looking to integrate PR into Campfire’s Influencer and Social offer. Lucy Warren joins from The Group and Megan Ellis-Nock will own Campfire’s Organic Social services having joined from Ryman.
Georgia Lateo has joined influencer agency Digital Voices as Head of Client Development. Lateo was previously Managing Partner at Wavemaker and prior to this Client Partner at dentsu Aegis Network.
UK app development company, The Distance, has appointed a new managing director and senior leadership team. The company’s former Head of Operations Louise Toal takes the managing director role, with Project Team Lead Gemma Oliver succeeding Toal. Former MD and company founder Anthony Main will move into a strategic role to oversee and support the business’ ambitions, while completing the senior leadership team is Tom Boatman as Senior Account Manager.
Boldspace has launched Boldspace Newsroom with former Daily Mail, MailOnline and ITV News journalist Khushwant Sachdave at the helm. The Boldspace Newsroom is a central resource available to all the agency’s clients and will support teams with news stories, copy and distribution strategies. Sachdave’s most recent role was Press and Media Director at Aspirations Academies Trust, a Multi-Academy Trust with 16 schools across the country, where she led media reputation management for three years.
Simon Reed has joined multilocal as Chief Revenue Officer and Fern Potter is the agency’s incoming VP of Product and Business Strategy. Reed was most recently Chief Commercial Officer at MOBKOI, and has previously held senior roles at Kelkoo Group, Hearst Magazines, Aol Advertising and Microsoft. Potter in her former role at Mediacom created the agency’s programmatic buying unit. She has previously held leadership positions at Carat, Neo@Mindshare and FCB/Six.
The Freethinking Group (TFG) has appointed Simon Crunden to Chief Executive Officer. Cruden is currently Managing Director of TFG’s media buying agency Republic of Media and will continue in the role alongside his new position. TFG has also appointed Rory Paterson, Global Vice President at Expedia, as a Non-Executive Director. Paterson has more than 20 years experience in digital and tech-focused media and joined Expedia seven years ago to create a client-side programmatic team.
