Following a surge in demand, PMW has also bolstered its judging panel which now features judges from Hong Kong, Indonesia, Australia, Brazil, India and the USA.
Ahead of the awards we caught up with some of our new additions to the judging panel, made up of experts from brands and agencies from around the globe.
We asked them why global performance marketing awards are important for the industry, and to name the key challenges facing marketers across the world today.
Aretha Rodrigues, Digital Marketing Manager, RaiaDrogasil
“I do believe it is extremely important to celebrate accomplishments in order to create a sense of empowerment and also to create benchmarks for other companies and professionals. I’ll be looking for entries that help promote personalisation, the best experience and that can be customer centric through technology without impacting data privacy.”
Pranav Patil, Customer Analytics Manager, Nextdoor
”These awards are a way to applaud the hard work done by the industry colleagues and an opportunity to showcase the innovation demonstrated by the teams. Hence it is necessary to celebrate the work and help push boundaries. Tackling challenges with a cookie-less future.”
Matthew Dodd, Head of Analytics EMEA, Kantar Analytics
“It's even more important to recognise the best-in-class performers and to optimise effectiveness of marketing spends in the current climate.”
Ceri Powell, Client Director - Wales Lead, iCrossing
“It will always be important to celebrate the marketing work which is happening in the industry. Despite the current economic climate, companies still need to participate in marketing activity in order to sustain and grow, as well as counteracting any decline in sales. As organisations have to demonstrate increased efficiency, increased innovative thinking and increased effectiveness - it is therefore even more challenging, therefore celebrating this excellent work that is happening becomes more important than ever.”
Maryanne Murray, Director of Strategy, Contagious
“These awards provide an important benchmarking tool for organisations as well as a forum for all to raise awareness of the value of the work done beyond the obvious metrics. As consumers increasingly make choices based on personal values the usual KPIs, data and metrics may no longer be true measures of success -or otherwise."
Catherine Chappell, Head of Biddable Performance, Mediahub
“Awards evaluate brand's campaigns and strategies on measurable business outcomes. They are not only aspirational but inspirational and provide north stars to many marketers. The macro factors such as cost of living and consumer confidence will continue throughout the year however we will also see further impact in ad tech due to bloat and walled gardens becoming further insular.”
