Launched in October 2022, PMW Jargon Buster is designed to help you shed light on the more technical terminology in the industry and break down communication barriers across teams and partners, from the training room to the boardroom.
With over 40 entries already, the PMW editorial team has built this section on PMW’s website in response to popular demand from our audience, who requested simple, practical and visual explanations for frequently used acronyms and specialist phrases.
Robin Langford, Editor at PMW, said: “The launch of Jargon Buster last year was hugely popular with our audience - so much so that we’ve expanded the list with plans for monthly updates based on reader feedback. This week, we’ve added some key terms for Apple advertisers, including explainers for the SKad Network and IDFA.”
“We’ve designed it to be so much more than just a glossary of terms, with visuals and practical examples that connect each term to wider business objectives. And now, it’s free for all registered users, whether you’re a new starter, experienced practitioner or senior manager working in the performance marketing industry.”
The PMW editorial team will update the library each month and will accept requests for new jargon to be ‘busted’ via our Instagram.
