The Agency and Team

The agency’s background is in retail marketing but over time they have become a genuinely integrated shop. The agency is owned by a creative not a suit, which is why they always put creativity first!

They have a very solid base of retained clients and the account you will be working on is their biggest. They are 15-20 strong in total (including creatives), with seven in your team.

The Senior Account Manager role

In the role you will report into one of the best – and most personable – Business Directors we know who simply describes them as a ‘super agency’.

Your key account is lots of fun to work on – very creative with big, self-generated concepts and integrated campaigns.

The account / your role will be strategic (you will learn A LOT about strategy in the role which will assist your transition to Account Director) with deliverables including digital display, radio ads, DM, print, video, OOH and much more besides.


They are looking for a switched-on agency SAM who ‘gets’ creative and the creative process – someone with solid skills in social / digital who is ready to hit the ground running.

The Account

The agency is making a massive impression on this client and it’s growing daily. They have grown the account organically and impressively – they deal with 150 different people across various teams – and it’s now worth around £2.5m annually to the agency alone.

The account is busy and is supported by 2 x AEs, an AD (the Business Director describes them as the best client services person they have ever worked with), an Account Manager who is soon to be promoted to SAM and an Account Manager who is soon to return from mat leave.

You will also have opportunity to work on other agency clients / new business as time progresses.


Salary is 100% dependent on experience, plus you get a host of benefits alongside 25 days’ holiday AND a Christmas shutdown totalling 28 days’ leave excluding the usual bank holidays.
